I am the founder and owner of Art Rave Inc, a virtual and in-person painting experience.

Recognized for my artistic talent since childhood, my passion for creating art was always very strong. It led me to Columbia College of Art and Design in Chicago, Illinois, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in illustration. I illustrated a children’s book while earning my degree and also worked as a freelance artist for many years. However, I never really knew how to create for myself. Despite my talent, creating did not come easy to me; quite the opposite!

I spent a lot of time struggling on deciding what to create, draw, or paint and then put so much pressure on myself about the outcome that I did nothing. I was stuck and my artistic talent stayed hidden for years! In all of my formal instruction developing my artistic skills, I found the most difficult skill was learning to create freely.

I discovered that when I created for others my creativity came out of hiding and Art Rave was born! Designing and painting for others broke down my mental barriers. Sharing my talent for drawing and painting allowed me to let go and create freely. Through Art Rave, I was able to connect with others; friendships were formed and creating art became fun again.

Now I see everything as inspiration for a new painting! Painting with others and for others for Art Rave has increased not only my skills, but also my enjoyment. I want the same for you.
